AFPD
Why class participation really matters

AFPD has both school and state requirements on class participation. Being active in the classroom not only tracks the material presented and if the students are retaining it but also helps you the student in learning the job skills that are necessary.
Take for example our Executive Protection Course, the theory, lecture and power point presentations are covered during different times of the day. Then that material is reinforce by doing skills and hands on training through group participation. This is why participation is so important in training, it could be a one up on a VIP or the need for a large scale team with multiple venues and movements. Being able to work not only individually but also in a team environment is key to Executive Protection work.
