Emergency Medical Technician
Our EMT program in particular is a professional certification. It requires dedication and understanding of a multitude of medical terminology's and processes to conducting physical patient assessments. Student MUST be comfortable with being able to have physical contact with others to dealing with live situations where one will see blood and the human body during clinical hours to everyday job situations. Our last rotation we had great students. Some of them really did not think that EMT would be for them but after the training and their clinical hours, they knew this particular industry was their calling.
